Hello,

I am having trouble getting XBMC to list new TV shows in the directory using "Scan for new content".

This is an SMB share across the network, naming convention is fine etc. It finds new Movies no issue, although those are connected locally via USB.

If, instead I right-click on the TV Show Name under TV shows, and select "TV show information" and do a refresh, reselect the show, after it done it then lists the 1 unwatched episode. I didn't have to do a "Scan for new content".

Any ideas?

Hey, I've got the same problem

"Scan for new content" does not pick up new episodes, whether its run on start up or manually.

The only way to add new episodes to the library is the refresh the entire series data.

I've searched the forums for solutions but haven't found anything that has worked.

Please help!

See my sig for how to post a windows related problem in a useful manner. Also, consider deleting the nfo's that I can almost guarantee you've got hidden in those folders.
