Hi,
I've noticed an initiative to replace the GoAhead web server by the libmicrohttpd.
does this new webserver support php or asp pages ?

No the new webserver will be extremely small, all processing will be outsourced to the client instead.
We see little reason for adding server side scripting since js in webservers can do all that work easily.
