Set content makes XBMC cache all locally stored artwork?
#1
When I set the content to my movies, XBMC copies all of the .tbn (posters) to the userdata/Thumbnails/Video folder

Why doesnt it just read the files from the movies directory? My movies are set up like this..

(folder) A Bug's Life
A Bug's Life.mkv
A Bug's Life.tbn
A Bug's Life.jpg
A Bug's Life.nfo

thanks Smile

Plus, not sure you can use fallback="", or isEmpty type of stuff and some drives sleep when not in use and you would have to wait for those to wake up to diplay those images...

I guess that makes sense. The problem is that when I only have a 4GB thumb drive, it gets full fast.

How many movies do you have on your remote share? Can't imagine they would take up that much space.

they dont take up 4 gigs. but a couple hundred megs. all high res images combined with the images from my Tv shows (season thumbs, and screen shots.)

it adds up.
