[Windows] HDMI audio cuts off after pause
#1
This isn't directly XBMC related, but I'm hoping for some help. I've got HDMI cables run from my 360, PS3, and HTPC into my receiver, and then one cable from there to the TV. When I'm playing videos via the HTPC and pause, after a few seconds my receiver clicks off as if it isn't being sent an audio signal anymore. When I resume the video, the receiver clicks again, and resumes audio.

Both the 360 and PS3 don't seem to have this issue. I've delved into all of the audio properties I can find, but don't seem to see anything about this. Anybody know what else I can look into?

Specs:
Windows 7 64bit
EVGA NF-77 HDMI
Audio driver is listed as "NVIDIA Corporation" and dated 8/21/09

Here is a cause and solution for Linux. I'm not sure about windows but I would check in the windows support forum and not here in hardware for an answer.

All of that Linux stuff is pure gibberish to me. Smile I've been a Windows guy for far too long, I suppose.
