mp3 audio in .ts file- no sound
#1
Hi,
I have Coldplay live recorded HDTV broadcast in .ts format.
Video is OK but I hear no sound. On Windows VLC plays it normally and displays:
a52 codec for audio (channels: stereo, original id:2049) and mpgv codec for video.
XBMC displays it as mp3 (0 channels).
Is it unsupported codec, XBMC configuration problem or what ?
P.S.
XBMC runs on ASRock 330 ION where all sound is played through hdmi to Denon 1910. Most of my music is in flac format, so I don't remember if usual audio mp3 file is played OK, if it is relevant I'll test it.

Problem solved:
File has two sound tracks. One - original ID 2320, codec - mpga, Language - NAR (don't know what it is), second - Original ID 2319, codec a52, Language: English.
If I manually select second track I get normal Dolby sound. If I select first track (with NAR language) in VLC I get no sound as well. So whatever this NAR is - it is the problem, XBMC is cleared of all suspicions Smile
