Tested XBMC Live / Windows 9.11 Bug, Complete crash on both systems!
#1
Hi,

I discovered a bug in 9.11. Playing any video that is a "Feed 422" video will crash both your linux live xbmc 9.11 and the latest 9.11 for windows in the same mannor. It goes straight to terminal / desktop when you try to play these files. I don't know if this was the case for the older builds, i don't think they played properly, but xbmc definitly didn't crash.

Video that crashed my xbmc both on windows and linux: Britney Spears- Womanizer (Bambi Awards 2008 27-11-2008-Feed422-Luco).mpg , Anges- On And On (NRJ In The Park 19-09-2009-Feed422-Luco).mpg, Anges- Release Me (NRJ In The Park 19-09-2009-Feed422-Luco).mpg

Info on these files says the following:
Video: MPEG2 VIDEO 720x576(16:9) 25.00fps 8000kbps
Audio: MPEG Audio 48000khz 256kbps

Crash log shows:

It's not a big deal, i really don't care, but i though i'd report the issue if it wasn't already known.

edit: added crash log

A debug log will be more useful - pastebin it once you've enabled debug logging.

Cheers,
Jonathan

This may not be valid with current svn anymore since we default to another decoder for mpeg2 (lavc instead of libmpeg2)
