I have a soft modded Xbox with XBMC-SVN_2010-04-27_rev29407-T3CH installed.
I updated from an older version (2008), and EDL (commercial skipping) was working fine before (with edl files produced by comskip).
Now, after the upgrade, I cannot get EDL to work anymore.
After looking at the changes made to XBMC, it looks like the EDL support was rewritten somehow...I know that for instance it is always enabled by default now (which is good).
In the log, it says that the EDL file was parsed properly, but at playback time, there is no skipping ! The video plays as if the EDL was not there. The funny thing is as soon as I press the right arrow on the remote, it jumps into the movie by skipping the entire commercial, and also, the time is frozen during commercial.

So, something is going on with EDL, but skipping is not occuring ?
Any ideas of what could go wrong ?
I tried with DVDPlayer and Mplayer: same result (except that DVDPlayer seems to at least skip the beginning of the video properly, but not the rest of the ads.....very strange).
