Rough idea of my setup:
Acer Revo 1600, output video & audio via HDMI, through denon avr-789 receiver (does HDMI switching to the TV) to a toshiba regza 40" TV. Harmony remote switches between XBMC setup and other devices. Running Ubuntu 9.10 w/ latest XBMC release (no nightlies).
Everything works great, but when I switch from the revo's HDMI input to anything else on the receiver (i.e. to watch TV via cable box or to blu-ray player), XBMC dies. I can't seem to find anything in the logs, it just stops.... X is still running, so i just restart XBMC, but the wife & kids are having trouble with this.....
No error messages or log entries, so I don't really know where to start.
Any ideas?
