I just finished updating my HTPC to Ubuntu Lucid Lynx and I've encountered a starnge problem.
When I first turn my HTPC on XBMC loads up automatically, however I'm unable to access network shares and XBMC remote from my iPhone wont connect. To fix it all I need to do is exit XBMC and then login with the xbmc username and manually start XBMC with "xinit xbmc-standalone". The I'm able to access the shares from my file server and connect with XBMC remote on my iPhone without any problems. Any ideas on how to fix this would be appreciated.
