i have my xbox attached to a netgear wgt634u router which has a usb attached external hard drive, i can browse to the folders on the hard drive via xmbs but can i set the folders on the drive, pictures, music and video as the default folders in xmbc? so i can access them without having to browse each time. xbmc sees the hard drive and its contents and streams my pictures music and video really well so i am presuming i just have to get the path set correctly in the .xml file. as a newbie any help and guidance would be much appreciated. cheers

yes you can, put them in the
<default>path</default>
tag.

your path would be something like
xbms://192.168.0.1:1400/my videos/

its in the xboxmediacenter.xml file. just read it and have a play
