Any news on where you're at with the Sets issue?

I tried creating two sets, Blu-ray and DVD. I set them up in EMM (very easy) and figured it's a great way to separate the HD movies from the others.

As indy5 noted way back on page 13 (I think) he met with a GO BACK screen. I am getting the same thing.

Yeah, you're almost right, it works in "Videos", but not in "Movies". Or I missed something in settings.

Working fine on my setup in Library and File mode.

If you really want the simplest, no-hassles way to separate HD from DVD I'd suggest setting up a smart playlist using the resolution. This way, you don't have to remember to assign it to the set every time you add a movie to the library.

Yep, no need to rename your files with smartplaylists.

It's one of the best feature of xbmc !!!

Just FYI, seems the sets issue was caused by a change in recent SVNs. It was fixed in 30826.

Sweet, I'll try the new SVN for the Sets issue. (Just got my LOTR Blu-rays a couple of days ago so I'll set them up)

Waffa, I tried doing the Smart Playlists however I could not for the life of me get them to work. Where are some good directions for getting them setup with the new SVN builds of XBMC? All my movies either end with .bluray or .dvd so I'm sure it will be easy to get it setup from what I've heard, I just need the right instructions.

For creating smartlist you can't use night skin, it doesn't support it yet !!

It's also very hard to get to the videoplaylist in this skin.

Uhh, you pobably know mcborzu... playlists (general) need some attention

No shortcuts in homesubmenu or whatever..

You can only reach videoplaylist via: video submenu / library and then push 2 times back and you will see playlist when select that you'll see an option new smart playlist but again it doesn't work yet in Night skin.

So for creating smartplaylists use another skin ...Confluence, MiniMeedia Waffa! until mcborzu fixes playlists in general !

I'm having issues with the new SVNs. Both 30831 and 30813 freeze when I try to change the skin.

Any ideas?

OK, that's what I thought. I'm gonna do a full on clean out and try again...lol

Are you using Windows 7?

XP but you only have to rename/delete your guisettings.xml and all your settings will be default again. Sources stay
