Build r30163 - Did the Video DB version get regressed?

I've just updated from 29092 to 30163 and am getting an error

Code:
ERROR: Can't open the database MyVideos34.db as it is a NEWER version than what we were expecting!

While I was expecting to have to build a new MyVideos DB I wasn't expecting it to be complaining about the existing DB being NEWER than expected?

Did the DB version get regressed or is there an error in the error handling or detection logic somewhere?
Kodi 17.6 on multiple Windows 10 x64 machines with shared MySQL 5.6.43 database. Kodi 18 on Xbox One. Content (music, video, photos) stored on Windows Server 2012 R2 file server and accessed by SMB.

It got regressed.
