Every time i start up xbmc, i get wavy horizontal lines going up and then coming up again. I have an old sdtv and use the regular composite cables. I tried replacing them, but they still come back. Is the xbox dying? I tried just plugging in the tv and xbox and nothing else and the lines still come on. I thought they were interference lines. Could it be overheating?

have you tried a different tv / rgb-cable / switched xbox from pal to ntsc and vice versa...?

i think it must be the tv. It doesnt do it my other sd tv. But the xbox is the only thing with these lines on it. The ps2, dvd player and n64 dont have them. It seems to get the lines in everything on it, games too.
also, the lines are almost diagonal, its weird. Just real distracting.
