Is it possible.. playback on remote?

Is this a possible feature. I have been dealing with crappy streaming like ORB, and I wonder if it is possible for the XBMC to re-encode on the fly so that the video could be viewable in the remote app itself.

The best scenario would be if I could configure it to play the video in a lowend bitrate that I could use to watch my media on the phone over 3g/4g via XBMC.

EDIT: NVM. I see that is a long term goal already Smile

Yeah and it basically depends on how topfs2 can integrate the transcoding. But it's indeed a longterm goal we all like to see Smile
Running XBMC on my HTPC, tablet, phone and pinball machine.
Always read the XBMC online-manual, FAQ and search the forums before posting. Do NOT e-mail Team-XBMC members asking for support. For troubleshooting and bug reporting, make sure you read this first.

Yes this would be amazing. I would like to be able to browse my library select a movie, and it is transcoded and downloaded to my phone for viewing later.
