- Samba Windows File Sharing support
- Proftpd support
- Sabnzbd (nzb) and Transmission (torrent) downloading support
- FireFly (iTunes) server added
- Apache frontend added

Download: http://xbmcfreak.binkey.nl/xbmcfreak-10.00-svn33324.zip

For the older 9.11 Livecd use this thread: http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=66388

Remarks: Special thanks to Luigi Capriotti who helped me on this. The Xbcmfreak livecd's shouldn't be associated with XBMC.org. Usage at your own risk!

Good initiative to start a new thread.

Do you use this yourself? What hardware? Have you tried the remote, and do you have wake from USB working to power on the unit from Sleep?

When you say latest addons package... will this give me anything newer than I would get from having your last build installed and choosing to update the addons from within XBMC?

Looks like tvheadend is removed. Shame i set it up on an earlier build and while not fully intergrated into xbmc was good enough to do the recording part and place in a folder xbmc could play it back.

what is the content of the addon package?

Your last build used the standard Ubuntu splash screen - any chance this build has the XBMC splash screen? A minor irritant of mine...

Thanks for your efforts by the way, I appreciate it!

Browse for new share :

Selecting workgroup ok, selecting prometheus file server no joy.

Working keeps spinning.

Adding share by hand, works fine.

The rest seems stable, video, vdpau, audio, remote, all good no errors during bootup live cd.

Could you post your smb.conf before you had modified it, so I can have a look at it.

From 9.11 to 10.08?
No there are too many changes. To try you can uninstall xbmc, upgrade from karmic to lucid, reinstall nvidia drivers or add the 185-nvidia repo, add the xbmc svn ppa and reinstall.

Great Work!!!

I just installed (last Saturday) your 1st of July version, and worked like charm.

Pity that kernel .23 breaks the lucid cir driver for the asrock ion 330 ht, but that is obviously neither you responsibility nor diminisses your good work.

I assume that this new version with lm-sensors recovers temperature functions. ¿is that so? I'd really appreciate that, since I overclock the GPU for some specific films and test samples and I like to check them out.

¿What is iTunes server? I have not found so far an easy way to move my itunes library to XBMC and forget the ipod speakers...

Thanks a lot.

I apologize for not being specific enough. I got your last one Xbmcfreak LiveCD svn31495 10.08 and just installed it yesterday. Smile I was hoping there would be a way to upgrade without having to redo everything. Thanks erhnam!
