Hi,

I have an issue where if I am using the following audio settings then I get no sound when playing mkv movie files. Normal avi and mp3 files play with sound ok.

audio out - digital
dolby digital - enabled
dts capable reciever - enabled
audio output device - hdmi
passthrough audio device - hdmi
downmix multichannel audio to stereo - enabled

I am using:

Acer Revo R3600
Samsung LCD LE32B450C4W
XBMC Live 9.11 R26018

I would like to upgrade to a surround sound system soon, hence the need to use the digital output setting.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

I have tried various combinations of the audio settings with no luck.
The revo is connected using hdmi to the tv
