Hi All,
i've bought a Zotac Zone GT430 for test the new HD passthrogh functionality on XBMC, but i've some problems and i hope you can help me.
I'm using Ubuntu 10.10 with the latest snapshot alsa drivers (taken from here http://www.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/p.../snapshot/). I've tested the bitstreaming functionality outside XBMC as indicated on http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=157347, and all works good, my Onkyo TX-SR308 recognize correctly both Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD tracks.
Now there are the problems using XBMC :
- If i use the PVR XBMC trunk (this trunk don't have the new Audio Engine on board), audio works good, both for stereo and Dolby/DTS audio tracks
- If i use the new AE branch, i cannot hear any audio. When i play any video, it is played 2x or 3x faster and i've no audio on my speakers
My audio device is on hw:1,9 and i set up it in the Audio settings of XBMC (the same settings works on the PVR branch).
May be i'm wrong on something.......
I Hope someone can help me.......
Thanks and Goodnight!
Davide
