1080P Content No longer watchable on MacMini... any ideas?

Ok I'm running the latest nightly (well maybe a couple days old) and for some reason I'm not having any luck playing 1080p content. It skips all around and is just plain unwatchable. I don't have the newest MacMini but the one right before that. Here are my system specs and a pastebin of the log, any ideas?

Get the one from today (the 14th) I had a previous nightly where VDA was borked (always decoded FFMPEG). The one from today works fine. YMMV

Just had to restart XBMC to get VDA to "kick in" for this file. When VDA is enabled I get a pink hue fading in and out constantly. Not sure if that would be caught in the logs, but this hue isn't present when file is decoded with ffmpeg.

To be honest, I don't remember which I was running before. It was another nightly but one from June I believe. The only reason I installed that is because at the time I really wanted to try the hardware accel because 720p played fine but 1080 was not very good for higher spec movies like avatar etc... But a weird thing happened; 1080p yard fine but 720 no longer played well... Odd... I just dealt with it since most of my content is 1080 anyway but I finally decided to upgrade to the latest nightly and now 1080 content is no longer watchable. I did also upgraded to snow leopard 10.6.4 from 10.6.3 so I'm not sure if that had any baring on it.

I've read through that and it seems to be affecting people with the new HDMI MacMini. Davilla has the same setup I do, MacMini with the Nvidia 9400 chipset hooked up to a real HDTV and his seems to be running fine... I wonder what build he's running?

My build version can change daily and sometimes several times a day depending on svn churn Smile
