With debug within the plugin enabled: http://pastebin.com/6NFR9QvK

Thanks!

Thanks!

I see no login attempt here. No failure of 2-factor.

The only thing i see is some annoying stuff being printed in the log that shouldn't be there, but nothing harmful or failing.
Clicked login within the addon, and a 2-step digit windows pops up, and I enter my code I get from my iPhone. Same as I have done before, but a week ago or something. It stopped working.

I can try again. But honestly, I don't know what I'm doing wrong. When I'm just doing the regular steps of using the addon as described, and done before.

I'll keep you posted.

Ed1t: Here is a log file with a login attempt.
http://pastebin.com/9tUgEpt0
a) That link doesn't work
b) Try doing a (re)login in your browser. It will probably ask you to verify the new privacy statement, then hopefully your login should work afterwards.

I guess miracles to happens Smile Thank you so much! Big Grin
TobiasTheCommie Wrote:You should undo what that zip did and reinstall from the repository.

If you still encounter the error, configure the Simple Downloader and set a timeout(It should default to 5seconds, but apparently it isn't doing that for you)

Thank you very much Tobias for your help, I have re-installed the Simple Downloader and everything is working fine now.
Similar downloading issue to earlier posters. Uninstalled and reinstalled YouTube and SimpleDownloader plugins from repo, but still get stalled on the "Preparing Download" dialog. Even tried clearing the addons15 and commoncache.db files... Not extremely excited about a complete reinstall of xbmc, if I can avoid it. (I'm just extremely lazy Big Grin)

You don't need to re-install. That is a bug in the downloader code.

We are looking into it Smile

ETA: That is to say, it is solved, i don't know when we can push the update though.
@tobias, do you have any clue why XBMC (openelec) would receive a SIGTRAP when for example a video is done playing which was started by the 2.9.0 add-on ?

I haven't been able to see anything in logs and asked devs already

Hm, nope. nor am i seeing this on vanilla linux.

I've asked an OE tester for confirmation of your issue.
btw, it's not new with 2.9.0, I had it before with the previous version also

Its highly likely this is unrelated to the youtube plugin and more related to something being broken with webstream in that version of open elec. As has been said before in this thread we don't really have any control over what happens during playback. The plugin is only responsible for resolving the connection

Youtube VideoID -> Video URL

The rest is entirely handled by XBMC

Maybe this is something for this great plugin.

Is it any good?
I have just upgraded to the Eden beta and a new version of the Youtube plugin. Where did the "Play video by ID" option go?

Why would we want to upload videos?
