Thanks to all who are helping with this project!!

I uninstalled the addon, installed YouTube-4.4.6, removed YouTubePlayer.py and YouTubePlayer.pyc,
copied dustinbrett's version (#163 https://code.google.com/p/youtubexbmc/is...tail?id=95
) into place and still no luck playing any youtube videos.

Please advise if I am missing a step.

Dont remove YouTubePlayer.pyc, then give it another try
Hello,

if i want to browse the playlists of my subscriptions, i only see the first 50 playlists. This is a problem for me, because he actually has about 150 playlists so i can't browse the other 100 not shown. Is this a bug? Is it possible to fix this?

Greetings
I uninstalled 4.4.6 and tried 4.4.4 again and still can't login or access my subscriptions. I don't have 2-step verification enabled on my google account, so it should work with my normal password.

In my youtube/google settings it shows that I've granted access to "YouTube XBMC Plugin — YouTube". I don't remember doing this and I'm not even sure when it would ask but that's what it says.

Thanks for the suggestion but I got the same results.

I uninstalled, then reinstalled 4.4.6. I went into the addon which caused YouTubePlayer.pyc to be created. I then copied over YouTubePlayer.py and tried to play a video. That caused a new .pyc to be compiled but the play back failed.

Just to follow up and maybe help someone else...

After adding the following section to my advancedsettings.xml file, play back worked:

<network>
<disableipv6>true</disableipv6>
</network>

Can anyone please take a look at my log and tell me
Why is it taking About 30 sec to load a video

Thanks in advance for your help
Just wanted to say thankyou. I've been using this add-on for a while but never been able to login except for today. Its like opened up the addon so much. So thankyou for this. I love it man
With 4.4.6 I can play videos no problem, I just can't login to view My Subscriptions, etc. Is this working for anyone?

I've tested on the RPi and now on my PC and on the latter the error is "Could not connect to Network server".

In this log I tried My Subscriptions, then successfully played a video, then tried My Subscriptions again and then My Favourites (which took a long while but then returned the same error)

Just wanted to say thank you Cool I had to go this fix posted earlier to get VEVO and other videos to work, but everything is fine now.
Why doesn't any one send the fix to the addon devs directly if not done already?
