If i could get the video id i can make sure the next version handles the error properly. We already have a lot of that in beta 2.6.0, but can never get enough.

It was on 2 videos actually. And the odd thing was I have played both videos in HD atleast 10x each within the past month.. All the sudden stopped working...

Still getting 404 page not found when trying Free Movies. Pastebin attached, I also began looking into the API error, it seems that almost all the Movie selections that do not work is due to charges ($$$) to view the movie. That sucks, almost all the ones that used to be Free are now Pay to View.

And I can not get into the Free Movies selection.

Even the YouTube Disco selection I'm getting errors on Top25 and most popular artists which is just about every option on the screen. Maybe I need to be at a later release of XBMC, I have the latest stable XBMC Dahrma Built on Mar 9 2011 (Git:Unknown). (not sure if it is now though)

I got the plugin working again using the stable repos.

The only thing I notice that there is no way to download a video. (the CD icon never lights up).
The CD icon is for downloading, right??

I have found a issue regarding playback of a specific yt video id

I'm using XBMC.PlayMedia to play a video now I get the following error is there any other way to play the video correctly by Event server or execbuildin metods...

I go to login. and my username and password is already stored, but when i press ok it says script failed. I have tried entering my login and apssword again but same error. I am trying to look for my log file but cant find it, can someone tell me where it is.

Recently, i switched back to the official stable 10.1 release, then switched between a couple of nightlies and now i cant run youtube. I even went back to the last stable build i was on on which youtube was working, but it wont work.

Check the version that you're using. When you are in the nightlies it updates the plugin to the 2.5.0 (Beta) version, so if you are now using Dharma it most likely will not work. Remove it and download the version from the XBMC repository.

These video's arent hosted on youtube servers but are instead hosted by crackle, so video playback isn't supported.

Disco Top 25 was rename top 50 a few months ago, but now it seems they removed it all together, instead you get the disco top 100 which is supported in 2.6.

If that doesnt work please create a debug log and upload it to pastebin.

this would seem to be a problem with your build of xbmc, we've recently added a dependency to the xbmcvfs api to support downloading to "smb://" shares and playback from local filesystem, but your xbmc seems to be missing that module?

please not that im not quite sure about the log paths as i drew them from memory and its been a while since i ran the plugin on windows (if thats what your using)

Hi, this problem is probably cause by you have had nightly installed before, xbmc doesnt downgrade the plugin when you switch back to stable, so you need to completely uninstall it to get a proper working one, alternatively you can try deleting the plugin folders mentioned in the previous guide.
