If You're using the stable build you have to go to Now Playing and in the side bare choose shuffle to get a shuffled playlist. In the beta there an option to play an entire playlist shuffled.

Dear All,

I've installed the youtube plugin (2.1.0)
But everytime i try to search for a youtube clip I get a uncaught error.
I tried to install the latest version of the plugin (2.6.2) but with same result.

Does any of you have a idea how to fix this

I can't get the youtube addon to work at all on my ATV2.

Whenever I search through the directories (e.g Youtube Shows\4oD or Youtube Shows\Comedy, etc) I either get to a 'Loading directory' screen which hangs or a 'no results found' error message. I cannot play any videos at all.

Any ideas? The iPlayer add-on works perfectly, but I'd like to be able to access 4oD via youtube. I'm based in the UK>

I seem to have login troubles, no matter what I do.

The start post I have read, fully. The troubleshooting login page I have also read, no remedy so far.

Yesterday I installed nightly build 20110906-5e50c25-master to be precise. This build comes with the 2.6.1 plugin, but there I also encounter a problem here (script failed). I looked at the log and it says: "No JSON object could be decoded" and then a trackback.

I'm on:
- Windows 7 64bit
- Nightly build 20110906-5e50c25-master
- Aeon MQ3 skin (but same problem under Confluence)
- Plugin version 2.6.1

Can somebody help me out? Is this the python library? Even though I'm on a nightly build?

Here is the log from the attempt on the nightly build just now. In this log, I install the plugin via the XBMC repository, enable it, turn on debuging, fill in my user credentials and try to load it. It returns a message about a script fail.

Interestingly, login succeeds: "21:05:23 T:1268 NOTICE: YouTube2.6.1 _httpLogin: Logged in" The problems seems to be around: "No JSON object could be decoded" It seems to be the same problem as described in this thread earlier (see here), has anybody tracked this one down yet?

I just did a fresh install of Crystal HD on appletv through USB port. The first thing I tried is youtube app but if failed. So I uninstalled it and try to install from get add-ons and it reboot crystal HD. happened 3 times in a row.

So I download zip from google code and got version 2.6.2 and installed via zip. Not rebooting but getting error. Error log can be found at http://pastebin.com/KLTsUTRx.

To make sure if it is indeed my firewall settings, I just turned of my firewall, but I still have the same result.
What else can be wrong

I seem to be able to view all 4oD and DemandFive TV apart from age related stuff. However for the age related content, through a browser I can view by either clicking the OK to watch button, or logging in and then no need to click OK.
With or without login credentials through the plugin it fails.

Dunno, it's pretty much a connection issue, cant really tell you much more than that
