Release [depricated] old YouTube Plugin - XBMC 13.0 Frodo/Gotham only
Small change.
Youtube works fine in my firecore but in XBMC it's crash after crash.
This one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VquINHBjyn8 720p makes my XBMC crash every time. Others on my favorite list doesn't work either. Anything changed with updates or so on? or is it just me?
Venchi Wrote:Less then a week ago I could play 720p. Seems like it's crashing every time a 720p are streamed. I use Youtube cache and hardware acceleration when I play a Youtube video. Are Youtube on a apple tv2 not suppose to support 720p?

+1

same here on windows, use to play 720p fine.. now it buffers
No change here..

Make a debug log:

Anyone having trouble with RTMP videos?

I'm surprised that we haven't heard anything from the 4oD crowd about playback being broken.

Our normal test video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8wxOVn99FTE has been failing for a few weeks now.

Can anyone from the UK confirm if 4oD playback is working?

And if 4oD is working, could someone send me a debug log(both xbmc and youtube debug).

Sincerely
TobiasTheCommie
I've some trouble with the Add-On.

XBMC is just freezing after searching anything with Pre-Dharma Nightly Release..

Is there a solution?

4oD is broken for me.

I'm at work so I can't give many details, but in the log during the rmtp handshake where it used to say something like "gave 6 server responded with 9", it now says "gave 6 server responded with 10".

I can provide a logs when I get home later, if you like.

Simon.

We have both been hitting a problem with sending a request while a window is up (During settings and search, for instance). Once this faulty request is sent the following request fails.

This is a bug in XBMC.

As a workaround(for search) the stored search that appears under the "Search" item should work.

That's what i expected to hear.

Log isn't important, just surprised i hadn't heard anything.

Nothing to do but wait for the next rtmpdump update.

There is a workaround to get Hulu to still connect with handshake 9. But i couldn't get it to work with youtube.
I am running into a problem with logging in.

I had to change my password recently for security reasons, and my current password has a space in it, which the script doesn't seem to like.

Is there anyway to allow spaces in passwords?
Does anyone know if this will work for YouTube live streams?

For example tomorrow night Google will be streaming their live keynote over their Youtube channel - will this work for that?

Thanks in advance.

Maybe.

The scraper is really unstable right now.

In the current 2.6.3 beta "FashionTV Direct!" works in YouTube Live.

Give it a try, hopefully it will work.

I can't confirm this for our latest trunk.

Could you please give me a debug log?

TheSecret Wrote:Nice. Where do I find this fix? With 'our' trunk, do you mean "youtubexbmc.googlecode.com/svn/trunk"? (Can't see the fix there)

Oh sorry. Missed your post.

No, that is not our main repository, until yesterday our main repository was actually not accessible to the internet(for purely technical reasons).

The code is now hosted at:
http://hg.tobiasussing.dk/hgweb.cgi/youtubexbmc/

Though you shouldn't use the trunk unless you know what you are doing. And expect breakage.

Movies and Shows are not working. So far this is known I think, but there are some Problems too. While some Clips are playing well others don´t do. Here´s a log from not working Clip:
Code:
09:45:55 T:2908830576 M:1279913984  NOTICE: -->Python Interpreter Initialized<--

I hope this will help for debugging.

Greetings
Simpel

I need a complete debug log, not just part of it.

apologies, here it is

I actually was able to use my password on my downstairs htpc, however I wasn't able to play any videos. I would click on a video and nothing would happen. I'm not sure if that is related or not. I also am not sure if the password warning is still applicable, as even though debug was enabled, my password was not present in the file.
