I should have known better, the last time I uploaded a log was when it still logging passwords, anyway I should have mentioned that it is only My Subscriptions that is affected, Playlists and Favourites work fine.

Nothing really jumps out at me. We have seen this before though.
Have you tried adding/removing a subscription and see if it works then?

Youtube -> Explore youtube -> YouTube Feeds
This will give you the most popular. We used to have a setting for "day/week/month",, but it seemed to make little(if any) difference, so we have removed that option.

I am trying to use something like

It works. The problem is, it shows me the youtube addon settings everytime this is invoked. Is there a better way to do this?

It might have been adding a subscription or upgrading to newer nightly who knows.In an vaguely related question is it a limitation of the Youtube api that sets the amount of videos returned to "New Subscription Videos", I'm trying to catch up on stuff I missed

I have done everything, installed the youtube plug in, deactivated it, rolled it back etc...
I keep getting the cannot connect to remote server error... with most scrapers
If I change it to TMDB scraper, it wont pull posters, fan art etc...
I about to lose my MF MIND..,

Yeah, i have no idea what is going on. Try the following:
1) Enable debugging in the YouTube plugin2
2) Restart XBMC
3) Login to youtube(if you have an account)
4) Try your scrapers.
I doubt this will change anything though.
You could also see if this problem still exists with the Eden beta.

Anyone having any issues streaming content at the moment, I've got 3 live boxes in the house and the Windows box I'm using now and they are all giving a playback failed error, however the video download option in XBMC works fine.
Log states curl error 56, which using google knowledge suggests that it is having trouble picking up the stream.
Just curious if anyone else has any issues to start with.

If download works, so should playback.

I've got a problem with this (v 2.8.0)
Every other option seems to work fine apart from 'My Subscriptions'
When I try My Subscriptions, it says it's retreiving 1 items, before I get a script error: plugn.video.youtube
Any idea what it could be? I've remved a lot of subs, down to 455 if that's an issue

Wow, that's an insane amount of subscriptions.
This bug should be fixed in the next version(I hope).
