hi guys,

been playing with  xbmc and so far i like it. but i am having a problem with the search function of xbmc, i have scanned my music and when i select view by album it works fine. however whenever i click "search" it locks up my xbox. does this feature work yet?

i have read the release info and it indicates that it is in this release. has anyone got this to work yet?

yes it works, but you prolly dont got the media/ subdir
problem is that some ppl are spreading out binaries which dont got the media subdir
you need to copy xbmc/keyboard/media dir
to your xbox

just dl the new "xbmc xbins cvs 10-07-2003" from xbins and it does not have the media folder mentioned above. i would love to test the search feature. how can i install this on my xbox (i can't compile my own version).
