Problem with DTS in Beta1
#1
I'm having trouble with movies containing DTS audio. I can't get audio working for these files. XBMC will work flawlessly for all other movies with my setup.

Setup: XBMC r33324, ATV connected to flat screen lcd TV through HDMI. Using build-in TV stereo speakers.
Settings in system-audio output: HDMI, 2.0, boost on downmix, AC3 checked, all others unchecked.

I have two examples that would work on XBMC 9.11 but fail on r33324. Can't find a setting that will work.

Both files will play (with audio) in VLC 1.1.3.
ASUS Chromebox (celeron), Openelec 5.0.8, Aeon Shednox
Panasonic GT60, Cambridge Audio TV2
Synology 411j

Hi Mauzzz, I experienced the same issue but on my MAC Mini. See my post here.

Beenje provided my a special build with --enable-liba52 but that didn't help much.
Will give it another try when he is back again this week.

My AppleTV is now starting to have this issue, seemingly out of nowhere. It worked just fine before and now certain videos refuse to pass the DTS over to the receiver. I get a "PCM 48Khz" error on my receiver which is weird because the videos played just fine a week ago. I have yet to figure out what is going on. Other videos with DTS pass thru just fine. I'm starting to get impatient and thinking about just converting the DTS to AC3.
