Dharma branch dts still broken

R33324 10.01-beta1 the DTS still flickers on and off during playback on the ion platform in xbmc live...

It appears to be a problem with the audio signal constantly kicking in and out. If i mute the audio thru XBMC, it stops flickering to DTS all together... If i boost the volume, it seems to last longer then at lower volumes. It is also more constant during loud action...

Hmm, I haven't noticed this yet myself, though I'll run a few more DTS tracks tonight and see if I run into the issue.

Hi,

I have no problems with DTS Sound - everything works perfect.

How you do have connected your Sound Device (TV,AV-Receiver) to your HTPC?
I use an optical SPDIF Cable and noticed that it wasn't plugged correctly to my receiver a few weeks ago - it did lost the connection sometime. Perhaps your opical connection (if you have) is not correctly or your cable is broken.

Ditto that Sphere. I watched for several hours last night. No issues with DTS.

it is a bug, in audio gui once play remove option output to all speakers and all is fine again i had same issue... i now have a new issue with build 33661, some DD 5.1 is having distortion in output, never had it before .. i guess they still work on passthrough issues with late builds...

Acer Revo setup.. Everything goes HDMI into the TV, then the TV has the optical cable into the reciever.. Dolby Digital works fine, but DTS hasent worked at all... Is there anyway to boost the gain in DTS? It might be a problem with a low gain so the tv doesnt output it during those times?!?

Yes, same here, Dharma Beta 4, digitally connected to DTS enabled reciever, worked perfectly with XBMC 9.10, but does not work with Dharma (no sound, stuttering video). System is Windows 7, 64-bit.

I have a problem on some tracks outlined in this topics.

http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=84739

I'm not sure if it related to Pulse though, because I didn't try it without PulseAudio.

I have "Lord of the rings" trilogy I've got from Some*Bay Smile, ones that ~ 12-15Gb, blu-ray rips. All have x264 + DTS 5.1.

#2 is playing fine, while #1 and #3 playing always corrupted
