Dear forum members
I managed to install XBMC + VDPAU + VNSI-server according to this tutorial http://www.loggn.de/all-in-one-howto-ubu...-testing2/ (in German).
Now, trying to set up the HTPC, I tried to change VDR's (DVB-S) channels.conf to my likings (e.g. deleting encrypted channels). For this, I did -of course- stop VDR (etc/init.d/vdr stop) to make sure the file doesn't get overwritten.
A) Whenever I do this and start VDR again, I still see all the old channels I deleted. If I then try to choose one of the deleted channels, I get no info, no tuning, nothing. If I choose one of the channels that's still present in my new file, I am successful in tuning in.
B) After a while, my channels.conf gets overwritten by a larger version that contains all the deleted channels again.
Is this an issue with XBMC (I would guess A) is) or VDR ( B)?)?
My HTPC details:
PC: Q8200, 2GB RAM, 1TB HD, nVidia GF9600GT
DVB Cards: Hauppauge WinTV Nova HD S2 (PCI), Hauppauge WinTV Nova T (USB)
XBMC: pvr-testing-37~yavdr-lucid32595+6
VDR: 1.7.15-2yavdr1
If this is a pure VDR-related issue, please let me know.
Thanks in advance.
BR
Marcio
