Hello,
I have noticed a problem with the recent 2 betas that I wanted to report.
Playback from the Library of ANY files hang for no apparent reason with no useful information in the debug log. I have provided logs for 2 MKVs but this happens no matter what I try to play. It always seems to hang after:
18:01:48 T:1456 M:2939822080 NOTICE: Creating Demuxer
and has this entry in the log when it does not work:
18:01:48 T:1624 M:2936983552 DEBUG: ------ Window Init (DialogBusy.xml) ------
The problem is on 2 machines (mSVR, mPC) using Dharma Beta 2 (SVN:33776)
Both PCs use Windows 7 Ultimate 64 Bit, have 4GB RAM and are fully patched
PC1:
mSVR: AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 6400+
mSVR: ATI Radeon X1200 Series
Set up as a 'portable' install
PC2:
mPC: Intel® Core2 Duo CPU E8400 @ 3.00GHz
mPC: NVidia GeGorce 8500GT
Set up as a standard install
I have tested the following on 21:
- Start XBMC
- Video->Files->Films-HD->21[Start] - Plays OK
- [Stop]
- Video->Files->Films-HD->21[Start] - Plays OK
- [Stop]
- Movies->Movies->Title->21[Start] - Hangs
- [Need to kill XBMC to get control of the PC back]
I have tested the following on IM2:
- Start XBMC
- Video->Files->Films-HD->IM2[Start] - Plays OK
- [Stop]
- Video->Files->Films-HD->IM2[Start] - Plays OK
- [Stop]
- Movies->Movies->Title->IM2[Start] - Hangs
- [Need to kill XBMC to get control of the PC back]
I have also tested the following but these are not in the log:
- Movies->Movies->Recently Added->IM2[Start] - Plays OK
- [Stop]
- Movies->Movies->Genres->Sci-Fi->IM2[Start] - Plays OK
- [Stop]
- Movies->Movies->Year->2010->IM2[Start] - Plays OK
- [Stop]
So... I'm pretty sure that this is a problem with the Movies Library (Title) section.
