File mode creation mask (umask)
#1
Is there anyway to force XBMC to use user specified umask? All new files which are created by XBMC have mode 644 by default. I sometimes edit subtitles and exported nfo files from different computer using NFS share and I need XBMC to create all files with 002 umask. Is this possible? I've tried running XBMC from shell with proper umask set but it still uses 022 umask.

xbmc is a script that start xbmc.bin so you could just but umask 002 in that file.
