Hi, I have no experience with xbmc and recently installed XBMC Live, but instead of going to the main screen it loads a black screen and asks for the username and then password. I put in the login details but nothing happens. What am I doing wrong?

After logging in try the command startx
Media player: Xtreamer Ultra 2 XBMC v13 RC 1 Gotham, iPhone 4s & iPad mini Retina

thanks for the reply, after typing that in, it seems to load something but then the screen goes blank and then the monitor goes off due to no signal. I think the graphic card may be the problem

On what system you are doing this? OS?
