Happy to hear that and thx for soundblaster clarification (I am still not sure why they do that if it make the signal not readable by receiver - what is the point then - I guess I don't fully understand it)

BTW will you be interested in exchanging some of your DTS wavs ?
I have a small collection myself so maybe you can find something you like. (for testing purposes of course ) Send me private message I have FTP server running.

Also, I ran into the same problem after upgrading XBMC v10*, no more DTS 44.1khz playback. Following instructions for adding the advancedsettings.xml fixed the issue!
I wrote a little linux script for automating many of custom installation features with XBMC for Ubuntu as I'm very likely to forget this little gem in the future.
