Can you let me know how you get on as from what I can tell there is almost no room in the case for a graphics card.If there is PCIe slot available, you should be able to fit a low profile HD6450 discrete GPU in it.

pglover19 Wrote:There are a couple of things you need to know about the Optiplex 960 SFF computer. These are things I have learnt over the last few days about the Optiplex 960.
1. The XFX HD-645X-ZQH2 Radeon HD 6450 1GB low profile graphic card will not fit due to the large heat sink on the card. The case will not close with this card. I had to use my HIS HD 6450 low profile graphic card (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as...6814161376). If you look a both graphic cards, you can see the difference in the heat sink. You need a graphic card similar to the HIS HD 6450.
2. The latest version of the AMD Catalyst Vision Engine Control Center and drivers from the AMD website will not work. You will get a blue screen of death when installing the AMD software. I had to get the AMD driver and Vision Control Center software from the Dell website for the Dell Optiplex 990 computer. Here is a link to the HD 6450 driver for Windows 7 64 bit for a Optiplex 990 computer (http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/us/e...2731098798). This is a much older version of the AMD software that will work with the motherboard and chipset of the Optiplex 960 computer.
