Black Friday / Cyber Monday Deals for HTPC and XBMC
#1
Exclamation
Having been trolling the forum for about two months, I thought it would be beneficial to start a thread that outlines the best deals available coming up on November 28 (Black Friday) and the following Monday (Cyber Monday)

In my opinion, any nettop with an Ion chipset and NVIDIA graphics card, any large external HD, RAM, LCD TV's etc. should be listed. I will update the post as regularly, but please add your own links and deals as you see fit.

Thanks to contributing forum members and Team XBMC for a great open source project! Can't wait to see what the future holds for XBMC! Nod

Black Friday, Cyber what??!!

This is a global forum with most users from all over the world, I don't think posting a whole thread with US specific sales promos is appropriate here, there are better forums for that, like AVSforum which is a US forum.

Also better make sure you don't post any affiliate links here as that's against the forum rules.

Black Friday is the day after Thanksgiving every year in the U.S. Many times offers made in U.S. stores are available online as well. Cyber Monday is the following Monday. Online retailers slash their prices on this day. I had no intention of posting any affiliate links, just helpful links for the community to use in finding hardware at a discounted rate that only comes once a year.

Question
If you don't like what people are talking about in a SINGLE THREAD, get out of it. Simple.

I'm not in the US, btw.

Now that's just silly.... there are discussions all over this forum pointing to things for sale in the UK or wherever and I never once was offended because this is a 'global forum' & unavailable to me; I think its a grand idea to let people know of some components they can get on the cheap if the opportunity arises.

I tripped on this one, not technically a "deal" but a fantastic price on that particular unit if you ask me... At $450, a bit on the steep side, much more bearable at $350.

Had to make sure mine was shipped before I shared! ;-)

O_o I kind of want .. one of each... , I mean you've got to value the slim external dvd at ~$45 or so making the nettop in some senses $99.99 , and ahhhh the other being 1080p ... my wallet will hate BF again this year
