xbmc dharma 4 crashed after playing a video
#1
I'm running ubuntu 10.10 x86_64 and have the dharma 4 svn installed through ppa's. Every time a video finishes playing, xbmc will freeze. If it is in window mode, I have to kill the process. If I am full screen, nothing is responsive and I have to do a hard reboot. Also, it doesn't seem to generate a crash log. Any ideas?

I'm using the proprietary ati drivers with a radeon hd4650. The files I'm playing are all x264.

without the slightest of real info such as a crash log and/or a debug log; no.

Stab in the dark says turn off sync playback to display.

Sorry, here is the latest log. I disabled sync playback as bobo1on1 suggested. This time, it still froze, however now I can't kill the process and it is using 100% cpu.
