To add a source to your file manager, the best way is to select the root directory of your Ouya system, so you will have acces to any files/directories on it.

Angels, hi! it's me again! long time no see!!!!

i'm trying use gamefaqs to download PS2 thumbs/fanart and the search returned: no thumb found to (ex: Fatal frame III), but if you go to the site, all covers are there!

what happened? i can found info and fanart, but no thumbs!

EDIT: fanart only find one to fatal frame I, II or III... i'll see others later to test!
EDIT 2: final fantasy X only find 2 FFXII fanarts... using gamedb... using gamefaqs no find any fanarts...

I'm using advanced launcher to launch windows media center (http://www.avsforum.com/t/1492094/ultima...-with-xbmc) and it works for the most part except when I hit backspace I see black screen and XBMC stays minimized. I'd have to double click XBMC to open it in full screen. It's in full screen mode. Not sure if there's something I missed when setting up advanced launcher with WMC. Also, I don't use explorer.exe (desktop), when booting the machine it goes directly to XBMC and I don't see desktop at all (windows 8).

Surely something as changed on the gamefaqs website and I need to update dedicated scrappers. I will try to fix this during this week-end.

Try to deactivate the "Toogle XBMC into Windowed mode" into your WMC launcher (Context menu > Edit Launcher > Advanced Modifications).

Consider also GamesHQ. I had a similar issue crop up the last time I ran a scan (trying to download a thumbnail). It may be unrelated, but perhaps should be checked into.

Thanks Angelscry. I tried that and either way (it's set to off by default) would keep XBMC minimized and stays that way when I exit WMC. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hey eman7, I'm experiencing the exact issue too and i know a workaround to share. Try changing video output to Fullscreen Window instead of True Fullscreen. That change did it for me.

What is GamesHQ? If you mean GameDB, I need a specific example (game and platform name searched), so I will be able to reproduce de problem on my system an quickly fix it.

Using XBMC into "True Fullscreen" can generate video ressources problem (freeze, black screen, etc...) with some applications, That's why it is always recommended to use the XBMC "Fullscreen Window" instead.

Trying to use Advanced Launcher 2.2.5 with XBMC 12.3 and I get a script error "Script failed! : addon.py". Beginning of this thread says to post here when that happens, so I'm giving it a shot. Pastebin: http://pastebin.com/n8rnms7P

Close XBMC.
Download the zip archive of Advanced Launcher (link on the first post of this thread).
Extract the zip archive into xbmc/addons directory (overwrite the existing plugin.program.advanced.launcher directory).
Then Restart XBMC.

Problem is due that since version 2.2.0 the structure the the launchers.xml files have changed. You need to roolback to version 2.1.0. Edit something into your launcher, and then reinstall the last version of Advanced Launcher (actually 2.2.6). Here is a detailed tutorial : http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid...pid1586005

To quickly found and start an item into Advanced Launcher :

Add the item as favourite into XBMC (item context menu, "C" key > Add to favourite)
Use the included search engine.
Only list into Advanced Launcher items you will really use.

Also, Advanced Launcher in not a game manager, but it's an application launcher.

I also have MAME installed on my system. It only list items I want to play. It I want to add an item, I just copy/paste the rom into the dedicated folder and perform a new scan. I don't understand people having 7000 games, who want them all listed but only use 10-20. Do you also have Movies or Series TV or Music that you will never play or listen?

Ok... that does not sound good. Your launchers.xml file may be corrupted. Go into Advanced Launcher settings and try to restore a backup with a date/time before the problem occurs.
