Are you sure that the sop.bat file is located at the same place (same full path) on both PC? Could you post here the content of your launchers.xml file, and, if you want, the content of your sop.bat file. If Advanced Launcher not runnig you .bat file but did not give you any error message, that's mean you do not start it with the right manner.(2012-03-29, 14:22)Angelscry Wrote:(2012-03-29, 11:06)RedPenguin Wrote: Not sure what could be going on with my Advanced Launcher plugin. Here are the instruction taken from the Advanced Launcher user guide :
I have successfully used Advanced Launcher and XBMC Eden on 2 of my PCs running Win 7.
Now this last PC running XP Pro 32-bit when I try and create a new launcher I am show only D: or my DVD drive.
Also, when I attempted to use a launchers.xml file from my other PC which worked with no problems on my other machines, it refuses to run programs off my C: drive.
I've tried reinstalling the plugin even reinstalling XBMC, nothing seems to work.
Quote:Add Network or Local drives
It will be possible that, for your first use of Advanced Launcher, you will be not able to see or access any of your network or local drives. To solve this you will have to do the following: Go back to the XBMC home-screen and select the "System" item (assuming you are using the "Confluence"-Skin which is default) - do not open the menu-item! -and press the down arrow to select the "File Manager" submenu. In the next screen add a source via the "Add Source" entrie. Now technically it does not matter what you add as a source. In order to use your whole hard-drive just add the whole hard drive to the sources, you won’t have any side-effects (except you will have to navigate more while creating new launchers).
Thank you so much, that fixes most of the problem.
Even though I added the entire C: drive for some reason my launchers still do not want to work.
I have my launchers running C:\Documents and Settings\RedPenguin\My Documents\Dropbox\Public\sop.bat with arguments like 115511.
The two other PCs can run it fine and on this PC I can even run the batch file in Run or CMD, just Advanced Launcher seems to not be running it.
