Can't believe that actually worked! Is this going to be fixed sometime soon or is the error that causes this still unknown? Also, do you know if this will continue happening everytime I plug in a usb or insert a disc? Finally you mention it's a windows issue...do you recommend formatting the system and installing some form of Linux?
1. give administrator rights to XBMC,
2. remove any CD or external drives from your system,
3. manually add sources into XBMC,
4. modify manually the launcher code.
Personally I have use the first method and it solve me the error, even after returning XBMC to standard user right.
