No Web-Interface on my Beta3 on Linux?
#1
Hey

On my HTPC(Sabayon/Gentoo), I'm running Beta3 at the moment.
However, I cannot seem to find the menu for enabling the Web-Interface. I've checked my windows install and it's not where it should be :S

Is it possible I missed a flag when compiling?

Thanks in advance.

Code:
mediaVerse ~ # eix xbmc
[i] media-tv/xbmc
     Available versions:  (~)9.11-r4 (~)9.11-r5 (~)10.0_beta3[1] **9999 {aac alsa altivec avahi bluray css debug hal httpd joystick midi profile pulseaudio rtmp sse sse2 vaapi vdpau webserver xrandr}
     Installed versions:  10.0_beta3[1](10:07:09 PM 10/23/2010)(aac alsa avahi css hal joystick pulseaudio sse sse2 vdpau -altivec -bluray -debug -httpd -midi -profile -xrandr)
     Homepage:            http://xbmc.org/
     Description:         XBMC is a free and open source media-player and entertainment hub

[1] "user_defined" /usr/local/portage

would I need the httpd USE flag?

get rc1.

Well.. I compiled RC1 with the httpd USE flag which triggers the webserver flag.

That's why it was missing the first time as well I guess.

Anyone interested can get the ebuild here:
