Hi everyone,

I just installed 9.11 on my computer that was running ubuntu 10.10 and hooked up to my tv and stereo.

I installed fine, but when I got to the main screen I turned on my receiver and was greeted with horrible noise. Pink noise really. I am going from my analog output on the computer to RCA in on the stereo. In Ubuntu there was no noise issue and now that I installed XBMC I can't get rid of it.

It is not a ground issue. I tried isolating ground and it is still there.

Any suggestions?

xbmc 9.11 has NO binaries built for maverick you need the svn ppa for that.

that alone can be the casue of the problem, since you may not be aware that maverick operates in very differnt ways xbmc 9.11 is not designed to handle.
