The *32 should not show up in the real process name.
You can check what the program sees by opening a command prompt and executing

The first column will have the process name. Let me know what you see. You'll have to do it when handbrakecli is running.
BTW - This only works on windows.

Well, everything looks correct.
I wrote a patch to give more info in the log and also handle a couple scenarios i see as might be causing this problem.

Rename your current .jar to .old and replace it with this: http://bradvido.com/sagexbmc/SageXBMC-1.3.2-patch.zip

If it still doesn't work, change the log level to 4. Then run the program from the command line using one of the .cmd files, and you will get even more debug output.

For whatever reason, the program is able to get a list of processes from windows. Please run the program from the command line using java -jar sagexbmc.jar and look for stacktraces in the output. I bet we will find the root cause there.

I use external compression and handbrake every day, and I have not had any
trouble on my windows7 x64 environment.

I should also add that this program currently uses the root of the dropbox as a staging area for external compression. If the dropbox is not local to where this program is running, then handbrake will be compressing over the network. Not ideal, but will still work. I'm going to look for a better way to handle this next release.

I did run from the command line, runing the include x64.cmd file. There was a lot of output to the terminal window, I'll see if I can find something relevant. If not, I'll redirect the output to a file.

Yeah, I noticed that. On my system, the processors are the bottle neck anyways. A question through, does it need to copy the file to the dropbox folder before doing the encoding? Could it just do it directly from the original location to the target? Or at least from the original to the dropbox, and them move it when it's done?

-Yes, I can probably just use the original recording as the source for the encoding. I was making that temporary copy to avoid interfering with Sage. Since my dropbox is on the server that I run the program on, it's not really an issue for me... Either way, I'll probably add some user-configuration for this in the next release.

Process name is not case sensitive.
Yes, a higher log level will tell us what's going on. I added some pretty verbose logging in the specific area we are having trouble. Please download this updated patch. Same process as before to install it. Run it again and we should find out what's going on. Also, set the log level to debug in config.xml.
If it's not obvious to you what's going on, please post the entire log to pastebin.com and then post the link here so i can sift through it.

Let's figure this out!

Could it be a timing issue? The copy procedure takes a few minutes. (the file is 8 GB, to/from the network) Everything above is done before it copies. Getting processes happens before the copy completes..

Exit code 1 is an error. I think I may see the problem. It look like i'm not wrapping the path in quotation marks (my fault). Let me check the code to confirm.

edit: Yes, that does seem to be the problem. Here's the patch, with the proposed fix. Try this. http://bradvido.com/sagexbmc/SageXBMC-1.3.2-patch.zip
If it works, remember to set you log level back to normal.
