I'm having a heck of a time making XBMC Flicks use chrome or opera. I always end up with IE.
I have tried setting both chrome and opera as default in w7 but that doesn't work. Tried editing the playercorefactory but that didn't seem to do anything. Copy/pasted what i found a few dozen pages back.
I used:
<playercorefactory>
<players>
<player name="Chrome" type="ExternalPlayer">
<filename>C:\Documents and Settings\xbmc\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Chrome\Application
\chrome.exe</filename>
<args>--start-maximized "{1}"</args>
<hidexbmc>false</hidexbmc>
<hideconsole>false</hideconsole>
<warpcursor>none</warpcursor>
</player>
</players>
<rules action="prepend">
<rule name="html" filetypes="html" player="Chrome" />
</rules>
</playercorefactory>
No clue if i did that right cause i have no idea what i'm doing. I think i may have screwed up the location for chrome above.
Any help is appreciated.
Can anyone shed any light on what I'm doing wrong? Thanks
Perhaps you are editing the wrong playercorefactory file. There's one in AppData\Roaming\XBMC\userdata and one in AppData\Roaming\XBMC\addons\plugin.video.XBMCFlicks\resources.
