Based on the sample images various people attached, I think the English version has a spelling error.

Most show the next to last line as:

S E V E N T W E L W E

I think it should be:

S E V E N T W E L V E

I downloaded version 0.0.8 from one of the links and it has the error
in the English layout.xml.

Sorry if I'm repeating what is already known, but I did not see where anyone else mentioned it. However, KiSUAN's images have it correct, so maybe I looked at the wrong version or something.

Thanks, will add it soon

shiftHour, shiftOnHalfHour and shiftOn20 shifts hours by the specified value always, on half past and 20 past the full hour. shiftOn20 is used in dutch and you used shiftOnHalfHour Smile

Hm, I think I get it. Then I have to change my layout a bit. Will repost in a bit.

Edit: I can't get it to work properly ... Swedish language works like this:
10.00 "it is ten o'clock"
10.05 "it is five past ten"
10.10 "it is ten past ten"
10.15 "it is a quarter past ten"
10.20: "it is twenty past ten"
10.25: "it is five to half eleven" <- hour changes, there should be a shiftOn25 too. Smile Currently I get "it is five to half ten" here. I could change shiftOn20 to 1, but then I would get "it is twenty past eleven".
10.30: "it is half eleven" <- hour changes, shiftHalfHour = 1 works here, but is 5 min too late.
10.35: "it is five past half eleven"
10.40: "it is twenty to eleven"
10.45: "it is a quarter to eleven"
10.50: "it is ten to eleven"
10.55: "it is five to eleven"
11.00: "it is eleven o'clock"

See what I mean? Smile

Well, I changed it myself. Here's an updated default.py with an if for shiftOn25 added, and a new layout.xml:
default.py
layout.xml

Great script, btw! Smile

it's the same as in german.
have a look at the german-strings.xml.

the "shift-setting" should work for swedish.

It doesn't, though. If I enable shiftOn20 I get "it is twenty past <the next hour>", which should be "it is twenty past <the current hour>". I need it to shift on 25.

The same happens if I switch to German. "Es ist zwanzig nach zwölf", instead of "Es ist zwanzig nach elf".

This is with 0.1.0 btw, no changes to code.

But isn't it logical that shiftOn20 doesn't work for me, and German? According to the code it should change if self.now.minute > 19, and it does. I need it to change if self.now.minute > 24, not before ...

I use 'date' to set my time to test different values, using this format: date MMDDhhmm, but that shouldn't make a difference, should it?

One more quick question: is this the official release thread? I can't find any references to download links or anything in here. The correct one seems to be Qlock word clock now available in Transparency!, but it seems odd that the place for a download link is in a skin specific thread. Smile

Yeah, sorry. Sad

I thought it was correct, it looked right when I tested it, but obviously I didn't test it enough, I missed the shift-triggers at the bottom. :/

But the new one I put on pastebin is correct for me, the whole hour too. But to achieve that I need a shiftOn25 added to default.py. According to donabi though, I don't... so let's wait and see what he says. Smile

Sorry for the inconvenience. Blush

No, it's not .. should be just an Ä .. (note to self: don't use nfoview to copy'n'paste from, messes up letters. Smile)
Code:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="yes"?>
<layout>
  <background all="K,L,O,C,K,A,N,V,Ä,R,K,F,E,M,Y,I,S,T,I,O,N,I,K,V,A,R,T,Q,I,E,N,Z,O,T,J,U,G,O,L,I,V,I,N,A,Ö,V,E,R,K,O,N,H,A,L,V,E,T,T,U,S,C,H,X,T,V,Å,T,R,E,M,Y,K,Y,F,Y,R,A,F,E,M,S,T,W,O,R,S,E,X,S,J,U,Å,T,T,A,I,N,I,O,T,I,O,E,L,V,A,T,O,L,V" />

  <!--Swedish Layout -->
  <time all = "1,2,3,4,5,6,7,9,10"
        m00 = "1,2,3,4,5,6,7,9,10"
        m05 = "12,13,14,45,46,47,48"
        m10 = "18,19,20,45,46,47,48"
        m15 = "23,24,25,26,27,45,46,47,48"
        m20 = "34,35,36,37,38,45,46,47,48"
        m25 = "12,13,14,16,52,53,54,55"
        m30 = "52,53,54,55"
        m35 = "12,13,14,45,46,47,48,52,53,54,55"
        m40 = "34,35,36,37,38,40"
        m45 = "23,24,25,26,27,29"
        m50 = "18,19,20,22"
        m55 = "12,13,14,16"
        h01 = "56,57,58"
        h02 = "64,65,66"
        h03 = "67,68,69"
        h04 = "74,75,76,77"
        h05 = "78,79,80"
        h06 = "86,87,88"
        h07 = "89,90,91"
        h08 = "92,93,94,95"
        h09 = "97,98,99"
        h10 = "100,101,102"
        h11 = "103,104,105,106"
        h12 = "107,108,109,110"
        shiftHour = "0"
        shiftOnHalfHour = "0"
        shiftOn20 = "1"
        />
</layout>

That's the correct one, according to donabi.
In my version I have shiftOn20 = "0" though, and a shiftOn25 set to 1:
Code:
...
        h12 = "107,108,109,110"
        shiftHour = "0"
        shiftOnHalfHour = "0"
        shiftOn20 = "0"
        shiftOn25 = "1"
        />
        ...

I tried several times without it, but it just doesn't work like it should. Seems like I'm the only one though. Tongue

Here is the version I'm running on my setup: http://pastebin.com/7H5qR3N8
(which is the same as the one you pasted, but with the correct letters)

Not sure which one you should push. Smile
