Hello everyone,
I'm new to this forum, but used xbmc for quite a while on my xbox and now want to set up a HTPC based on the above mentioned board, because I'd like to watch HD movies also.
I built a minimal Ubuntu 10.10 system and xbmc from SVN. Most things work quite nice, but I have troubles with sound over HDMI after wakeup from sleep. First I do not have any sound, but if I switch to a ttyX via CTRL-ALT-FX (without logging into that tty or anything) it suddenly works again. Since I do not want to use a keyboard on a HTPC, I need another workaround to get sound working again after wakeup.
Does anyone have the same issues or an idea how to handle this problem? Btw, I got the same behavior with a HDD install from the Dharma RC2 live disk.
I'm really hoping that someone is able to help me.
