OK ... I could be having a n00b moment here, but I hafta ask.
OSX 10.6.5
Mac Mini
Broadcom CrystalHD
XBMC 10.0
Everything was flawless using OSX 10.5.8 and pre-Dharma SVN.
Now I've reloaded the Mini with Snow Leopard, CrystalHD driver package 3.6.0 and XBMC 10.0. Everything is installed and working perfectly *IF* and *ONLY IF* I drop into Terminal and kextload the CHD kext file manually after system boot before launching XBMC.
With 10.5.8, kextload set it all up once and loaded the CHD kext automatically each time.
Now with 10.6.5, the CHD kextload is not automatic on boot ... I need to load it manually.
But once the manual launch is complete XBMC sees everything and runs fine.
There must be something simple that I am missing.... right ?
Automatic CHD kextload is possible with Snow Leopard .. correct ?
Anyone ?
