I am very new to xbmc, tonight is first attempt, running Dharma on USB from Live ISO install. Install went great, and boot works. I can see Weather header but mouse is same as background, all White.

I can navigate to side panel which appears faint and get to system and then nav to configure settings, but I can not see anything on the screen but the header "Change Settings" so I can not change the appearance or select skins...

Any help is greatly appreciated, I apologize if this is already addressed did not find anything after about 30 mins of searches in posts.

more notes... I am using an older HP Pavilion. Was running XP Home till HD Crashed, which is why I was trying the USB Live ISO. Could this be a hardware issue

Did you ever find a resolution to this? I have exactly the same issue I'm trying to solve.
