A simple question I think, but my searching is drawing a blank...

I have a Revo 3610 which is connected to my TV using HDMI and optically to the surround system (5.1).

My problem is, (or should that be requirement?) directing sound to each of the ports, for example:

2 channel Movie/Video I would like over HDMI - not a problem
5.1 channel Movie/Video over optical - works good
5.1 channel Music - works fine over optical

2 channel music is the problem, I dont want the music to come over HDMI as my TV isnt designed for loud music - I currently do this via the audio output manually each time I play music - but there must be a better way? surely?!?

Currently we don't have an automated way of doing this.

Thanks for the reply, I can stop trying to figure it out now!

Am I the only one that like Audio Loud through optical and cant afford HDMI stuff!?!
