Hi there

I'm an absolute beginner when it comes to *nix commands.

I'm trying to install samba-3.5.6 on my AppleTV.

I have followed the instructions here to successfully install XBMC and Boxee. All appears to be running nicely.

I'm now following the instructions here, and am stuck at step 4. When I enter

./configure

this is returned

-bash: ./configure: No such file or directory

I've searched the forums and can't see any discussion on this. My feeling is that its so super easy that no one else needs to post on it.

Any help will be received with thanks.

Solved - connected via sftp...

hrmm, I didn't think this was necessary when using XBMC - I thought it had a samba client... if not, that's the issue I'm having.
