[XBMC Live] Sound issue
#1
Question
I am using XBMC Live 10.0 r35648 in my current HTPC build. I use the SPDIF optical out from the mainboard instead of the HDMI for my audio output to my stereo. I am having a minor issue with the sound that is being output. First problem is that I am not hearing any sounds when I move through the menu. The second problem is that there is a 2 to 4 second delay from when a video starts to the sound being played. When the sound starts, it is in sync with the video. Finally, when I fast forward or rewind a video, the sound will be out of sync with the video.

My system specs are:
Athlon X2 265 proc. @ 3.3ghz
Asus M488T-M/USB 3.0 mainboard
4gb DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) RAM
nVidia GT 430 w/ 1gb RAM for a graphics card
1 - 40gb Intel X25-V SSD for system drive
3 - 2tb Western Digital Caviar Green HD for storage of media.

Thank you in advance for any help that is given for resolving this issue. It is greatly appreciated.
