It's nice from time to time, but for daily use I've concluded that a keyboard, mini keyboard, or double sided remote/keyboard isn't needed. I've tried many input methods, and a good feeling remote with the right amount of buttons is way more important than the occasional text entry.

Somewhat offtopic - perhaps a form of autocompletion/word suggestion would be useful? I'm thinking something along the lines of what smartphones use.
